அவன் சந்ததியார் நிர்மூலமாகக்கடவர்கள், இரண்டாந்தலைமுறையில் அவர்கள் பேர் அற்றுப்போவதாக.

இணை வசனம்

நீதிமானுடைய பேர் புகழ்பெற்று விளங்கும்; துன்மார்க்கனுடைய பேரோ அழிந்துபோகும்.

அவன் ஜனத்துக்குள்ளே அவனுக்குப் புத்திரனும் இல்லை பெளத்திரனும் இல்லை; அவன் வீட்டில் மீதியாயிருக்கத்தக்கவன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை.

கர்த்தர் நியாயத்தை விரும்புகிறவர், அவர் தமது பரிசுத்தவான்களைக் கைவிடுவதில்லை; அவர்கள் என்றைக்கும் காக்கப்படுவார்கள்; துன்மார்க்கருடைய சந்ததியோ அறுப்புண்டுபோம்.

ஆகையால், நான் அவர்களை அழித்து, அவர்கள் பேரை வானத்தின்கீழ் அற்றுப்போகப்பண்ணும்படி, நீ என்னை விட்டுவிடு; அவர்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் உன்னைப் பலத்ததும் ஜனம் பெருத்ததுமான ஜாதியாக்குவேன் என்றார்.

உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நீ சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ள உனக்குக் கொடுக்கும்தேசத்தின் சுற்றுப்புறத்தாராகிய என்னுடைய சத்துருக்களையெல்லாம் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் விலக்கி, உன்னை இளைப்பாறப்பண்ணும்போது, நீ அமலேக்கின் பேரை வானத்தின்கீழ் இராதபடிக்கு அழியப்பண்ணக்கடவாய்; இதை மறக்கவேண்டாம்.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தரின் கோபமும் எரிச்சலும் அந்த மனிதன்மேல் புகையும்; இந்தப் புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிற சாபங்களெல்லாம் அவன்மேல் தங்கும்; கர்த்தர் அவன் பேரை வானத்தின்கீழ் இராதபடிக்குக் குலைத்துப்போடுவார்.

உன் வீட்டில் ஒரு கிழவனும் இராதபடிக்கு உன் புயத்தையும் உன் பிதாவின் வீட்டாருடைய புயத்தையும் நான் தறித்துப்போடும் நாட்கள் வரும்.

அவன் குமாரர் தங்கள்மேல் சாபத்தை வரப்பண்ணுகிறதை அவன் அறிந்திருந்தும், அவர்களை அடக்காமற்போன பாவத்தினிமித்தம், நான் அவன் குடும்பத்துக்கு என்றும் நீங்காத நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்வேன் என்று அவனுக்கு அறிவித்தேன்.

ஆதலால் கர்த்தர் ஆகாபின் குடும்பத்தாருக்கு விரோதமாகச் சொன்ன கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தைகளில் ஒன்றும் தரையிலே விழவில்லை என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய எலியாவைக்கொண்டு சொன்னதைச் செய்தார் என்றான்.

அவர்கள் கனியை பூமியிலிராதபடி நீர் அழித்து, அவர்கள் சந்ததியை மனுபுத்திரரிலிராதபடி ஒழியப்பண்ணுவீர்.

நீ அவர்களோடே அடக்கம்பண்ணப்படுவதில்லை; நீ உன் தேசத்தைக் கெடுத்து உன் ஜனத்தைக் கொன்றுபோட்டாய்; தீமைசெய்கிறவர்களுடைய சந்ததி ஒருபோதும் பேர்பெறுவதில்லை.

இந்தப் புருஷன் சந்தானமற்றவன், தன் நாட்களில் வாழ்வடையாதவன் என்று இவனைக்குறித்து எழுதுங்கள்; அவன் வித்தில் ஒருவனாகிலும் வாழ்வடைந்து, தாவீதின் சிங்காசனத்தில் வீற்றிருந்து யூதாவில் அரசாளப்போகிறதில்லை என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
