நீதிமானுடைய பேர் புகழ்பெற்று விளங்கும்; துன்மார்க்கனுடைய பேரோ அழிந்துபோகும்.

தன் பணத்தை வட்டிக்குக்கொடாமலும், குற்றமில்லாதவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பரிதானம் வாங்காமலும் இருக்கிறான். இப்படிச் செய்கிறவன் என்றென்றைக்கும் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

கர்த்தர்மேல் உன் பாரத்தைவைத்துவிடு, அவர் உன்னை ஆதரிப்பார்; நீதிமானை ஒருபோதும் தள்ளாடவொட்டார்.

அவரே என் கன்மலையும், என் இரட்சிப்பும், என் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமுமானவர்; நான் அதிகமாய் அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

குறிக்கப்பட்ட காலங்களில் செலுத்தப்படவேண்டிய விறகுகாணிக்கையையும் முதற்பலன்களையுங்குறித்துத் திட்டம்பண்ணினேன்என் தேவனே எனக்கு நன்மையுண்டாக என்னை நினைத்தருளும்.

கர்த்தரை நம்புகிறவர்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் அசையாமல் நிலைத்திருக்கும் சீயோன் பர்வதத்தைப்போல் இருப்பார்கள்.
