வானங்கள் உம்முடையது, பூமியும் உம்முடையது, பூலோகத்தையும் அதிலுள்ள யாவையும் நீரே அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தினீர்.

பின்பு தேவன் அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் பலுகிப்பெருகி, பூமியை நிரப்பி, அதைக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தி, சமுத்திரத்தின் மச்சங்களையும் ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளையும், பூமியின்மேல் நடமாடுகிற சகல ஜீவஜந்துக்களையும் ஆண்டுகொள்ளுங்கள் என்று சொல்லி அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்.

உம்முடைய கரத்தின் கிரியைகளின்மேல் நீர் அவனுக்கு ஆளுகைதந்து, சகலத்தையும் அவனுடைய பாதங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினீர்.

நான் பூமியையும் மனுஷனையும் பூமியின்மேலுள்ள மிருகஜீவன்களையும் என் மகா பலத்தினாலும் ஓங்கிய என் புயத்தினாலும் உண்டாக்கினேன்; எனக்கு இஷ்டமானவனுக்கு அதைக் கொடுக்கிறேன்.

பின்பு தேவன் நோவாவையும், அவன் குமாரரையும் ஆசீர்வதித்து: நீங்கள் பலுகிப் பெருகி, பூமியை நிரப்புங்கள்.

உன்னதமானவர் ஜாதிகளுக்குச் சுதந்தரங்களைப் பங்கிட்டு, ஆதாமின் புத்திரரை வெவ்வேறாய்ப் பிரித்தகாலத்தில், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய தொகைக்குத்தக்கதாய், சர்வஜனங்களின் எல்லைகளைத் திட்டம்பண்ணினார்.

வானாதி வானங்களே, அவரைத் துதியுங்கள்; ஆகாயமண்டலத்தின் மேலுள்ள தண்ணீர்களே, அவரைத் துதியுங்கள்.

கோபமாய் அவர்களைப் பின் தொடர்ந்து கர்த்தருடைய வானங்களின் கீழ் இராதபடிக்கு அவர்களை அழித்துவிடுவீர்.

கர்த்தாவே, நீர் உமது வானங்களைத் தாழ்த்தி இறங்கி, பர்வதங்கள் புகையும்படி அவைகளைத் தொடும்.

என் பிதாவின் வீட்டில் அநேக வாசஸ்தலங்கள் உண்டு; அப்படியில்லாதிருந்தால், நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லியிருப்பேன்; ஒரு ஸ்தலத்தை உங்களுக்காக ஆயத்தம்பண்ணப்போகிறேன்.

கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், வானம் எனக்குச் சிங்காசனம், பூமி எனக்குப் பாதபடி; நீங்கள் எனக்குக் கட்டும் ஆலயம் எப்படிப்பட்டது? நான் தங்கியிருக்கும் ஸ்தலம் எப்படிப்பட்டது?
