ஆகையால் நேபுகாத்நேச்சாராகிய நான் பரலோகத்தின் ராஜாவைப் புகழ்ந்து, உயர்த்தி மகிமைப்படுத்துகிறேன்; அவருடைய கிரியைகளெல்லாம் சத்தியமும், அவருடைய வழிகள் நியாயமுமானவைகள் அகந்தையாய் நடக்கிறவர்களைத் தாழ்த்த அவராலே ஆகும் என்று எழுதினான்.

மகா சபையிலே நீதியைப் பிரசங்கித்தேன்; என் உதடுகளை மூடேன், கர்த்தாவே, நீர் அதை அறிவீர்.

தேவனை நோக்கி: உமது கிரியைகளில் எவ்வளவு பயங்கரமாயிருக்கிறீர்; உமது மகத்துவமான வல்லமையினிமித்தம் உம்முடைய சத்துருக்கள் உமக்கு இச்சகம்பேசி அடங்குவார்கள்.

தேவனே, என் சிறுவயதுமுதல் எனக்குப் போதித்துவந்தீர், இதுவரைக்கும் உம்முடைய அதிசயங்களை அறிவித்துவந்தேன்.

எனக்குப் பொல்லாப்பைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் வெட்கி இலச்சையடைந்தபடியால், நாள்தோறும் என் நாவு உமது நீதியைக் கொண்டாடும்.

இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தராகிய தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக; அவரே அதிசயங்களைச் செய்கிறவர்.

ஜாதிகளுக்குள் அவருடைய மகிமையையும், சகல ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளும் அவருடைய அதிசயங்களையும் விவரித்துச் சொல்லுங்கள்.

என் ஆத்துமாவே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரி; என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீர் மிகவும் பெரியவராயிருக்கிறீர்; மகிமையையும் மகத்துவத்தையும் அணிந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறீர்.

அவரைப் பாடி அவரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள், அவருடைய அதிசயங்களையெல்லாம் தியானித்துப் பேசுங்கள்.

உமது கட்டளைகளின் வழியை எனக்கு உணர்த்தியருளும் அப்பொழுது உமது அதிசயங்களைத் தியானிப்பேன்.

அக்காலத்திலே நீங்கள் சொல்வது: கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் நாமத்தைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்கள்; அவருடைய செய்கைகளை ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே அறிவியுங்கள்; அவருடைய நாமம் உயர்ந்ததென்று பிரஸ்தாபம்பண்ணுங்கள்.
