அவர் கன்மலை; அவர் கிரியை உத்தமமானது; அவர் வழிகளெல்லாம் நியாயம், அவர் நியாயக்கேடில்லாத சத்தியமுள்ள தேவன்; அவர் நீதியும் செம்மையுமானவர்.

கர்த்தருடைய சொற்கள் மண்குகையில் ஏழுதரம் உருக்கி புடமிடப்பட்ட வெள்ளிக்கொப்பான சுத்த சொற்களாயிருக்கிறது.

அவர்கள் தேவனுடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய மோசேயின் பாட்டையும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருடைய பாட்டையும் பாடி: சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, தேவரீருடைய கிரியைகள் மகத்துவமும் ஆச்சரியமுமானவைகள்; பரிசுத்தவான்களின் ராஜாவே, தேவரீருடைய வழிகள் நீதியும் சத்தியமுமானவைகள்.

கர்த்தருடைய வேதம் குறைவற்றதும் ஆத்துமாவை உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறதுமாயிருக்கிறது; கர்த்தருடைய சாட்சி சத்தியமும், பேதையை ஞானியாக்குகிறதுமாயிருக்கிறது.

தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சூரியனும் கேடகமுமானவர்; கர்த்தர் கிருபையையும் மகிமையையும் அருளுவார்; உத்தமமாய் நடக்கிறவர்களுக்கு நன்மையை வழங்காதிரார்.

தேவனுடைய வசனமெல்லாம் புடமிடப்பட்டவைகள்; தம்மை அண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்கு அவர் கேடகமானவர்.

ஆகையால் நேபுகாத்நேச்சாராகிய நான் பரலோகத்தின் ராஜாவைப் புகழ்ந்து, உயர்த்தி மகிமைப்படுத்துகிறேன்; அவருடைய கிரியைகளெல்லாம் சத்தியமும், அவருடைய வழிகள் நியாயமுமானவைகள் அகந்தையாய் நடக்கிறவர்களைத் தாழ்த்த அவராலே ஆகும் என்று எழுதினான்.

தேவனுடைய வழி உத்தமமானது; கர்த்தருடைய வசனம் புடமிடப்பட்டது; தம்மை நம்புகிற அவனைவருக்கும் அவர் கேடகமாயிருக்கிறார்.

கர்த்தர் என் கன்மலையும், என் கோட்டையும், என் இரட்சகரும், என் தேவனும் நான் நம்பியிருக்கிற என் துருகமும், என் கேடகமும், என் இரட்சணியக் கொம்பும், என் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமுமாயிருக்கிறார்.
