தேவனே, உம்முடைய கிருபை எவ்வளவு அருமையானது! அதினால் மனுபுத்திரர் உமது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே வந்தடைகிறார்கள்.

இணை வசனம்

உன் செய்கைக்குத்தக்க பலனைக் கர்த்தர் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுவாராக; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய செட்டைகளின்கீழ் அடைக்கலமாய் வந்த உனக்கு அவராலே நிறைவான பலன் கிடைப்பதாக என்றான்.

கண்மணியைப்போல என்னைக் காத்தருளும்.

அவர் தமது சிறகுகளாலே உன்னை மூடுவார்; அவர் செட்டைகளின் கீழே அடைக்கலம் புகுவாய்; அவருடைய சத்தியம் உனக்குப் பரிசையும் கேடகமுமாகும்.

உமக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்கும், மனுபுத்திரருக்கு முன்பாக உம்மை நம்புகிறவர்களுக்கும், நீர் உண்டுபண்ணிவைத்திருக்கிற உம்முடைய நன்மை எவ்வளவு பெரிதாயிருக்கிறது!

எனக்கு இரங்கும், தேவனே, எனக்கு இரங்கும்; உம்மை என் ஆத்துமா அண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறது; விக்கினங்கள் கடந்துபோகுமட்டும் உமது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே வந்து அடைவேன்.

தேவனே, உமது ஆலோசனைகள் எனக்கு எத்தனை அருமையானவைகள்; அவைகளின் தொகை எவ்வளவு அதிகம்.

நாம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளென்று அழைக்கப்படுவதினாலே பிதாவானவர் நமக்குப் பாராட்டின அன்பு எவ்வளவு பெரிதென்று பாருங்கள்; உலகம் அவரை அறியாதபடியினாலே நம்மையும் அறியவில்லை.

கர்த்தர் அவனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கடந்துபோகிறபோது, அவர்: கர்த்தர், கர்த்தர்; இரக்கமும், கிருபையும், நீடிய சாந்தமும், மகா தயையும், சத்தியமுமுள்ள தேவன்.

நீர் எனக்குத் துணையாயிருந்ததினால், உமது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே களிகூருகிறேன்.

ஆண்டவரே, நீர் நல்லவரும், மன்னிக்கிறவரும், உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிற யாவர்மேலும் கிருபை மிகுந்தவருமாயிருக்கிறீர்.

ஆனாலும் ஆண்டவரே, நீர் மனவுருக்கமும் இரக்கமும், நீடிய பொறுமையும், பூரண கிருபையும், சத்தியமுமுள்ள தேவன்.

அவர்கள் உமது மிகுந்த தயவை நினைத்து வெளிப்படுத்தி, உமது நீதியைக் கெம்பீரித்துப் பாடுவார்கள்.

எருசலேமே, எருசலேமே, தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைக் கொலைசெய்து, உன்னிடத்தில் அனுப்பப்பட்டவர்களைக் கல்லெறிகிறவளே! கோழி தன் குஞ்சுகளைத் தன்சிறகுகளின் கீழே கூட்டிச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளும்வண்ணமாக நான் எத்தனைதரமோ உன் பிள்ளைகளைக் கூட்டிச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தேன்; உங்களுக்கோ மனதில்லாமற்போயிற்று.

தேவன், தம்முடைய ஒரேபேறான குமாரனை விசுவாசிக்கிறவன் எவனோ அவன் கெட்டுப்போகாமல் நித்தியஜீவனை அடையும்படிக்கு, அவரைத் தந்தருளி, இவ்வளவாய் உலகத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்தார்.

அந்தப்படியே: இதோ, தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டதும் விலையேறப்பெற்றதுமாயிருக்கிற மூலைக்கல்லைச் சீயோனில் வைக்கிறேன்; அதின்மேல் விசுவாசமாயிருக்கிறவன் வெட்கப்படுவதில்லை என்று வேதத்திலே சொல்லியிருக்கிறது.

இச்சையினால் உலகத்திலுண்டான கேட்டுக்குத் தப்பி, திவ்விய சுபாவத்துக்குப் பங்குள்ளவர்களாகும்பொருட்டு, மகா மேன்மையும் அருமையுமான வாக்குத்தத்தங்களும் அவைகளினாலே நமக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

தம்முடைய ஒரே பேறான குமாரனாலே நாம் பிழைக்கும்படிக்கு தேவன் அவரை இவ்வுலகத்திலே அனுப்பினதினால் தேவன் நம்மேல் வைத்த அன்பு வெளிப்பட்டது.
