அவர்களுக்குத் தீமையுண்டாக அவர்களை பூமியிலுள்ள எல்லா ராஜ்யங்களிலும் அலைந்து திரிகிறவர்களாகவும், நான் அவர்களைத் துரத்திவிட்ட எல்லா இடங்களிலும் நிந்தையாகவும், பழமொழியாகவும், வசைச்சொல்லாகவும், சாபமாகவும் வைத்து,

அவனைக் குறித்துக் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிற வசனமாவது: சீயோன் குமாரத்தியாகிய கன்னியாஸ்திரீ உன்னை இகழ்ந்து, உன்னைப் பரிகாசம்பண்ணுகிறாள்; எருசலேம் குமாரத்தி உன் பின்னாலே தலையைத் துலுக்குகிறாள்.

உங்களைப்போல நானும் பேசக்கூடும்; நான் இருக்கும் நிலைமையில் நீங்கள் இருந்தால் நான் உங்களுக்கு விரோதமாக வார்த்தைகளைக் கோர்த்து, உங்களுக்கு எதிராகத் தலையைத் துலுக்கவுங்கூடும்.

நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த என் தேசத்தில் இருந்து அவர்களைப் பிடுங்கி, என் நாமத்திற்கென்று நான் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தின இந்த ஆலயத்தை என் சமுகத்தினின்று தள்ளி, அதை எல்லா ஜனசதளங்களுக்குள்ளும் பழமொழியாகவும் வசைச்சொல்லாகவும் வைப்பேன்.

ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே அவர் என்னைப் பழமொழியாக வைத்தார்; அவர்கள் முகத்துக்குமுன் நான் அருவருப்பானேன்.

என்னைப் பார்க்கிறவர்களெல்லாரும் என்னைப் பரியாசம்பண்ணி, உதட்டைப் பிதுக்கி, தலையைத் துலுக்கி;

நான் அவர்களுக்கு நிந்தையானேன்; அவர்கள் என்னைப் பார்த்து தங்கள் தலையைத் துலுக்குகிறார்கள்.
