சங்கீதம் 71:18
இப்பொழுதும் தேவனே, இந்தச் சந்ததிக்கு உமது வல்லமையையும், வரப்போகிற யாவருக்கும் உமது பராக்கிரமத்தையும் நான் அறிவிக்குமளவும், முதிர்வயதும் நரைமயிருமுள்ளவனாகும் வரைக்கும் என்னைக் கைவிடீராக.

இப்பொழுதும் தேவனே, இந்தச் சந்ததிக்கு உமது பெலனையும், வரப்போகிற எல்லோருக்கும் உமது வல்லமையையும் நான் அறிவிக்கும்வரை, முதிர்வயதும் நரைமுடியும் உள்ளவனாகும்வரை என்னைக் கைவிடாமல் இருப்பீ ராக.

இப்போது நான் வயது முதிர்ந்தவன், என் தலைமுடி நரைத்துவிட்டது. ஆனாலும் தேவனே, நீர் என்னை விட்டுவிடமாட்டீர் என்பதை நான் அறிவேன். உமது வல்லமையையும், பெருமையையும் ஒவ்வொரு புதிய தலைமுறையினருக்கும் நான் சொல்லுவேன்.
