முறையிடுகிற ஏழையையும் திக்கற்ற பிள்ளையையும் உதவியற்றவனையும் இரட்சித்தேன்.

ஜனத்தில் சிறுமைப்படுகிறவர்களை அவர் நியாயம் விசாரித்து, ஏழையின் பிள்ளைகளை இரட்சித்து, இடுக்கண் செய்கிறவனை நொறுக்குவார்.

கர்த்தாவே, சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய வேண்டுதலைக் கேட்டிருக்கிறீர்; அவர்கள் இருதயத்தை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவீர்.

ஏழைக்கும் திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைக்கும் நியாயஞ்செய்து, சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்கும் திக்கற்றவனுக்கும் நீதி செய்யுங்கள்.

அப்பொழுது ஜாதிகள் கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்துக்கும் பூமியிலுள்ள ராஜாக்களெல்லாரும் உம்முடைய மகிமைக்கும் பயப்படுவார்கள்.

தம்முடைய உயர்ந்த பரிசுத்தஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து பார்த்து, வானங்களிலிருந்து பூமியின்மேல் கண்ணோக்கமானார்.

இதற்குப் பின்பு நான் சூரியனுக்குக்கீழே செய்யப்படும் கொடுமைகளையெல்லாம் சிந்தித்துப்பார்த்தேன்; இதோ ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களின் கண்ணீரைக் கண்டேன், அவர்களைத் தேற்றுவாரில்லை; ஒடுக்குகிறவர்கள் பட்சத்தில் பெலமிருந்தது, அப்படியிருந்தும் தேற்றுவாரில்லை.

சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவர்கள் தண்ணீரைத் தேடி, அது கிடையாமல், அவர்கள் நாவு தாகத்தால் வறளும்போது, கர்த்தராகிய நான் அவர்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய நான் அவர்களைக் கைவிடாதிருப்பேன்.

இயேசு அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: நீங்கள் போய், கண்டவைகளையும் கேட்டவைகளையும் யோவானுக்கு அறிவியுங்கள்; குருடர் பார்வையடைகிறார்கள், சப்பாணிகள் நடக்கிறார்கள். குஷ்டரோகிகள் சுத்தமாகிறார்கள், செவிடர் கேட்கிறார்கள், மரித்தோர் எழுந்திருக்கிறார்கள், தரித்திரருக்குச் சுவிசேஷம் பிரசங்கிக்கப்படுகிறது.

நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டும் நாள் என் மனதிலிருந்தது; என்னுடையவர்களை மீட்கும் வருஷம் வந்தது.
