இந்தச் சபையை விட்டுப் பிரிந்துபோங்கள்; ஒரு நிமிஷத்திலே அவர்களை அதமாக்குவேன் என்றார்.

அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: இதோ, செத்து அழிந்துபோகிறோம்; நாங்கள் எல்லாரும் அழிந்துபோகிறோம்.

அந்தணமே சவுல் நெடிதாங்கிடையாய்த் தரையிலே விழுந்து, சாமுவேலின் வார்த்தைகளினாலே மிகவும் பயப்பட்டான்; அவன் இராப்பகல் முழுதும் ஒன்றும் சாப்பிடாதிருந்தபடியினால், அவன் பலவீனமாயிருந்தான்.
