இணை வசனம்

மோசே தன் கையைச் சமுத்திரத்தின்மேல் நீட்டினான்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் இராமுழுதும் பலத்த கீழ்காற்றினால் சமுத்திரம் ஒதுங்கும்படி செய்து, அதை வறண்டுபோகப் பண்ணினார்; ஜலம் பிளந்து பிரிந்துபோயிற்று.

உமது நாசியின் சுவாசத்தினால் ஜலம் குவிந்து நின்றது; வெள்ளம் குவியலாக நிமிர்ந்து நின்றது; ஆழமான ஜலம் நடுக்கடலிலே உறைந்துபோயிற்று.

கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

மேலேயிருந்து ஓடிவருகிற தண்ணீர் நின்று சார்தானுக்கடுத்த ஆதாம் ஊர்வரைக்கும் ஒரு குவியலாகக் குவிந்தது; உப்புக்கடல் என்னும் சமனான வெளியின் கடலுக்கு ஓடிவருகிற தண்ணீர் பிரிந்து ஓடிற்று; அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் எரிகோவுக்கு எதிரே கடந்து போனார்கள்.

என் குடல்கள் எரிபந்தமாய் எரிகிறது, என் மாம்சத்தில் ஆரோக்கியமில்லை.

கடலை உலர்ந்த தரையாக மாற்றினார்; ஆற்றைக் கால்நடையாய்க் கடந்தார்கள்; அங்கே அவரில் களிகூர்ந்தோம்.

அவர் சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தை அதட்டினார், அது வற்றிப்போயிற்று; தரையில் நடக்கிறதுபோல அவர்களை ஆழங்களில் நடந்துபோகப்பண்ணினார்.

சிவந்த சமுத்திரத்தை இரண்டாகப் பிரித்தவரைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது.

ஒரு குதிரை வனாந்தரவெளியிலே நடக்கிறதுபோல, அவர்கள் இடறாதபடிக்கு அவர்களை ஆழங்களில் நடக்கப்பண்ணினவர் எங்கே?

திரளான தண்ணீர் குவியலாகிய சமுத்திரத்துக்குள் உமது குதிரைகளோடே நடந்துபோனீர்.

எல்லாரும் மோசேக்குள்ளாக மேகத்தினாலும் சமுத்திரத்தினாலும் ஞானஸ்நானம்பண்ணப்பட்டார்கள்.
