இணை வசனம்

நான் யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களிலும் எருசலேமின் வீதிகளிலும் களிப்பின் சத்தத்தையும், மகிழ்ச்சியின் சத்தத்தையும், மணவாளனின் சத்தத்தையும், மணவாட்டியின் சத்தத்தையும் ஓயப்பண்ணுவேன்; தேசம் பாழாகும்.

ஏனெனில், இதோ, இவ்விடத்திலே நான் உங்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும், உங்கள் நாட்களிலுமே, சந்தோஷத்தின் சத்தத்தையும் மகிழ்ச்சியின் சத்தத்தையும், மணவாளனின் சத்தத்தையும், மணவாட்டின் சத்தத்தையும் ஓயப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

பின்பு, ஜனங்கள் முறையிட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்; அது கர்த்தருடைய செவிகளில் பொல்லாப்பாயிருந்தது; கர்த்தர் அதைக் கேட்டபோது, அவருடைய கோபம் மூண்டது; கர்த்தருடைய அக்கினி அவர்களுக்குள்ளே பற்றியெரிந்து, பாளயத்தின் கடைசியிலிருந்த சிலரைப் பட்சித்தது.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தரின் கோபமும் எரிச்சலும் அந்த மனிதன்மேல் புகையும்; இந்தப் புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிற சாபங்களெல்லாம் அவன்மேல் தங்கும்; கர்த்தர் அவன் பேரை வானத்தின்கீழ் இராதபடிக்குக் குலைத்துப்போடுவார்.

என் கோபத்தினால் அக்கினி பற்றிக்கொண்டது, அது தாழ்ந்த நரகமட்டும் எரியும்; அது பூமியையும் அதின் பலனையும் அழித்து, பர்வதங்களின் அஸ்திபாரங்களை வேகப்பண்ணும்.

ஆகையால் கர்த்தர் அதைக்கேட்டுக் கோபங்கொண்டார்; அவர்கள் தேவனை விசுவாசியாமலும், அவருடைய இரட்சிப்பை நம்பாமலும் போனதினால்,

அந்நாளில் ஏழு ஸ்திரீகள் ஒரே புருஷனைப் பிடித்து: நாங்கள் எங்கள் சொந்த ஆகாரத்தைப் புசித்து, எங்கள் சொந்த வஸ்திரத்தை உடுப்போம்; எங்கள் நிந்தை நீங்கும்படிக்கு உன்பேர்மாத்திரம் எங்கள்மேல் விளங்கட்டும் என்பார்கள்.

மகிழ்ச்சியின் சத்தத்தையும், சந்தோஷத்தின் சத்தத்தையும், மணவாளனின் சத்தத்தையும், மணவாட்டியின் சத்தத்தையும், ஏந்திரத்தின் சத்தத்தையும் விளக்கின் வெளிச்சத்தையும் அவர்களிலிருந்து நீங்கப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
