இணை வசனம்

நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்ட எல்லாவற்றையும் நீ செய்து, என் கட்டளைகளையும் என் நியாயங்களையும் கைக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கு, என் சமுகத்தில் மன உத்தமமும் செம்மையுமாய் உன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது நடந்ததுபோல நடப்பாயானால்,

இப்படியே தாவீது இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்தின்மேலும் ராஜாவாயிருந்தான்; அவன் தன்னுடைய எல்லா ஜனத்திற்கும் நியாயமும் நீதியும் செய்துவந்தான்.

அதற்குச் சாலொமோன் என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது என்னும் உமது அடியான் உம்மைப்பற்றி உண்மையும் நீதியும் மன நேர்மையுமாய் உமக்கு முன்பாக நடந்தபடியே தேவரீர் அவருக்குப் பெரிய கிருபைசெய்து, அந்தப் பெரிய கிருபையை அவருக்குக் காத்து, இந்நாளில் இருக்கிறபடியே அவருடைய சிங்காசனத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிற ஒரு குமாரனை அவருக்குத் தந்தீர்.

ராஜா தீர்த்த இந்த நியாயத்தை இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் கேள்விப்பட்டு, நியாயம் விசாரிக்கிறதற்கு தேவன் அருளின ஞானம் ராஜாவுக்கு உண்டென்று கண்டு, அவனுக்குப் பயந்தார்கள்.

தாவீது ஏத்தியனாகிய உரியாவின் சங்கதி ஒன்றுதவிர கர்த்தர் தனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டதிலே தான் உயிரோடிருந்த நாளெல்லாம் ஒன்றையும் விட்டு விலகாமல், அவர் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானதைச் செய்துவந்தான்.

நியமிக்கப்பட்ட காலத்திலே, யதார்த்தமாய் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பேன்.

இரக்கத்தையும் நியாயத்தையும் குறித்துப் பாடுவேன்; கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன்.

ஞானத்தையும் உணர்வையும் அருளும் ஆவியும், ஆலோசனையையும் பெலனையும் அருளும் ஆவியும், அறிவையும் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிற பயத்தையும் அருளும் ஆவியுமாகிய கர்த்தருடைய ஆவியானவர் அவர்மேல் தங்கியிருப்பார்.

கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: நீ மதியற்ற ஒரு மேய்ப்பனுடைய ஆயுதங்களை இன்னும் எடுத்துக்கொள்.

பின்பு அவர் அவனைத் தள்ளி, தாவீதை அவர்களுக்கு ராஜாவாக ஏற்படுத்தி, ஈசாயின் குமாரனாகிய தாவீதை என் இருதயத்துக்கு ஏற்றவனாகக் கண்டேன்; எனக்குச் சித்தமானவைகளையெல்லாம் அவன் செய்வான் என்று அவனைக்குறித்துச் சாட்சியுங் கொடுத்தார்.

தாவீது தன் காலத்திலே தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படி அவருக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்தபின்பு நித்திரையடைந்து, தன்பிதாக்களிடத்திலே சேர்க்கப்பட்டு, அழிவைக் கண்டான்.

எங்களால் ஏதாகிலும் ஆகும் என்பதுபோல ஒன்றை யோசிக்கிறதற்கு நாங்கள் எங்களாலே தகுதியானவர்கள் அல்ல; எங்களுடைய தகுதி தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது.

சீர்கேடான வீண்பேச்சுகளுக்கு விலகியிரு; அவைகளால் (கள்ளப்போதகர்களான) அவர்கள் அதிக அவபக்தியுள்ளவர்களாவார்கள்;

உங்களில் ஒருவன் ஞானத்தில் குறைவுள்ளவனாயிருந்தால், யாவருக்கும் சம்பூரணமாய்க் கொடுக்கிறவரும் ஒருவரையும் கடிந்துகொள்ளாதவருமாகிய தேவனிடத்தில் கேட்கக்கடவன், அப்பொழுது அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்.
