இணை வசனம்

நான் அவனுக்குப் பிதாவாயிருப்பேன், அவன் எனக்குக் குமாரனாயிருப்பான்; அவன் அக்கிரமம் செய்தால், நான் அவனை மனுஷருடைய மிலாற்றினாலும் மனுபுத்திரருடைய அடிகளினாலும் தண்டிப்பேன்.

கர்த்தர் எவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகிறாரோ அவனை அவர் சிட்சித்து, தாம் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுகிற எந்த மகனையும் தண்டிக்கிறார் என்று பிள்ளைகளுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறதுபோல உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லியிருக்கிற புத்திமதியை மறந்தீர்கள்.

இப்பொழுது நீ போய், நான் உனக்குச் சொன்ன இடத்துக்கு ஜனங்களை அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோ; என் தூதனானவர் உனக்குமுன் செல்லுவார்; ஆகிலும், நான் விசாரிக்கும் நாளில் அவர்களுடைய பாவத்தை அவர்களிடத்தில் விசாரிப்பேன் என்றார்.

சாலொமோன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதைப்போல கர்த்தரைப் பூரணமாய்ப் பின்பற்றாமல், கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்.

கர்த்தர் ஏதோமியனாகிய ஆதாத் என்னும் ஒரு விரோதியைச் சாலொமோனுக்கு எழுப்பினார்; இவன் ஏதோமிலிருந்த ராஜகுலமானவன்.

யெரொபெயாமை நோக்கி: பத்துத் துண்டுகளை எடுத்துக்கொள்; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இதோ, நான் ராஜ்யபாரத்தைச் சாலொமோனுடைய கையிலிருந்து எடுத்துக் கிழித்து, உனக்குப் பத்துக் கோத்திரங்களைக் கொடுப்பேன்.

இப்படி நான் இந்தக் காரியத்தினிமித்தம் தாவீதின் சந்ததியைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்துவேன்; ஆகிலும் எந்நாளும் அப்படியிராது என்று சொன்னான்.

அவர் தமது மிலாற்றை என்னைவிட்டு அகற்றுவாராக; அவருடைய பயங்கரம் என்னைக் கலங்கப்பண்ணாதிருப்பதாக.

என் மகனே, நீ கர்த்தருடைய சிட்சையை அற்பமாக எண்ணாதே, அவர் கடிந்துகொள்ளும்போது சோர்ந்துபோகாதே.

பூமியின் எல்லா வம்சங்களுக்குள்ளும் உங்களை மாத்திரம் அறிந்துகொண்டேன்; ஆகையால் உங்களுடைய எல்லா அக்கிரமங்களினிமித்தமும் உங்களைத் தண்டிப்பேன்.

நம்மை நாமே நிதானித்து அறிந்தால் நாம் நியாயந்தீர்க்கப்படோம்.
