இணை வசனம்

எகிப்தியர் தெய்வம் அல்ல, மனுஷர்தானே அவர்களுடைய குதிரைகள் ஆவியல்ல, மாம்சந்தானே; கர்த்தர் தமது கரத்தை நீட்டுவார், அப்பொழுது சகாயம் செய்கிறவனும் இடறி, சகாயம் பெறுகிறவனும் விழுந்து, அனைவரும் ஏகமாய் அழிந்துபோவார்கள்.

பயமும் திகிலும் அவர்கள்மேல் விழும். கர்த்தாவே, உமது ஜனங்கள் கடந்துபோகும்வரையும், நீர் மீட்ட ஜனங்களே கடந்துபோகும்வரையும், அவர்கள் உம்முடைய புயத்தின் மகத்துவத்தினால் கல்லைப்போல அசைவற்றிருப்பார்கள்.

எனக்குப் பயப்படும் பயத்தை உனக்குமுன் செல்லும்படி செய்வேன். நீ செல்லும் இடமெங்குமுள்ள ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரையம் கலங்கடித்து, உன் சத்துருக்கள் எல்லாரையும் முதுகு காட்டப்பண்ணுவேன்.

வானத்தின்கீழ் எங்குமுள்ள ஜனங்கள் உன்னாலே திகிலும் பயமும் அடையும்படி செய்ய இன்று நான் தொடங்குவேன்; அவர்கள் உன் கீர்த்தியைக் கேட்டு, உன்னிமித்தம் நடுங்கி, வேதனைப்படுவார்கள் என்றார்.

கீழ்மக்கள் மாயையும், மேன்மக்கள் பொய்யுமாமே; தராசிலே வைக்கப்பட்டால் அவர்களெல்லாரும் மாயையிலும் லேசானவர்கள்.

பிரபுக்களின் ஆவியை அடக்குவார்; பூமியின் ராஜாக்களுக்கு அவர் பயங்கரமானவர்.

நீங்கள் தேவர்கள் என்றும், நீங்களெல்லாரும் உன்னதமானவரின் மக்கள் என்றும் நான் சொல்லியிருந்தேன்.

அவர்களுக்கு நன்மைசெய்யும்படி, நான் அவர்களை விட்டுப் பின்வாங்குவதில்லையென்கிற நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையை அவர்களோடே பண்ணி, அவர்கள் என்னைவிட்டு அகன்றுபோகாதபடிக்கு, எனக்குப்பயப்படும் பயத்தை அவர்கள் இருதயத்திலே வைத்து,

மனுபுத்திரனே நீ தீருவின் அதிபதியை நோக்கி கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், உன் இருதயம் மேட்டிமைகொண்டு: நான் தேவன், நான் சமுத்திரத்தின் நடுவே தேவாசனத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிறேனென்று நீ சொல்லி, உன் இருதயத்தை தேவனின் இருதயத்தைப்போல் ஆக்கினாலும், நீ மனுஷனேயல்லாமல் தேவனல்ல.

உன்னைக் கொல்லுகிறவனுக்கு முன்பாக: நான் தேவனென்று நீ சொல்வாயோ? உன்னைக் குத்திப்போடுகிறவன் கைக்கு நீ மனுஷனேயல்லாமல் தேவனல்லவே,

கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நான் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களை அழித்து, நோப்பின் சிலைகளை ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்; இனி எகிப்துதேசத்தில் ஒரு அதிபதியுமிரான்; நான் எகிப்துதேசத்தில் பயமுண்டாக்கி,

அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் இது மனுஷசத்தமல்ல, இது தேவசத்தம் என்று ஆர்ப்பரித்தார்கள்.
