அந்த மிருகத்திற்கு அப்படிப்பட்ட அதிகாரங்கொடுத்த வலுசர்ப்பத்தை வணங்கினார்கள். அல்லாமலும்: மிருகத்திற்கு ஒப்பானவன் யார்? அதினோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணத்தக்கவன் யார்? என்று சொல்லி, மிருகத்தையும் வணங்கினார்கள்.

இராட்சசப் பாம்பு அந்த மிருகத்துக்கு அனைத்து பலத்தையும் கொடுத்ததால் மக்கள் அப்பாம்பை வழிபடத் தொடங்கினர். மக்கள் அம்மிருகத்தையும் வழிபட்டனர். அவர்கள், “இம்மிருகத்தைப்போன்று பலமிக்கது வேறு என்ன இருக்கிறது? அதனை எதிர்த்து யாரால் போரிடமுடியும்?” என்று பேசிக்கொண்டனர்.
