இஸ்ரவேலரைக் குறித்தோ: கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்களும் எதிர்த்துப் பேசுகிறவர்களுமாயிருக்கிற ஜனங்களிடத்திற்கு நாள்முழுதும் என் கைகளை நீட்டினேன் என்று அவன் சொல்லியிருக்கிறான்.

இவ்வளவு நாட்களும் “நான் அவர்களுக்காகக் காத்திருந்தேன். அவர்களோ எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிய மறுத்து விட்டார்கள். என்னைப் பின்பற்றவும் மறுத்துவிட்டனர்” என்று யூத மக்களைப் பற்றி ஏசாயா வழியாக தேவன் கூறுகிறார்.

ஆனால், இஸ்ரயேல் இனத்தாரைப் பற்றித் ⁽“தங்கள் எண்ணங்களின்படி எனக்குக்␢ கீழ்ப்படியாமல் நடக்கும்␢ கலகக்கார மக்களினத்தின்மீது␢ நாள் முழுவதும்␢ என் கைகளை நீட்டினேன்”⁾ என்றும் கூறுகிறார்.
