ரோமர் 12:6
நமக்கு அருளப்பட்ட கிருபையின்படியே நாம் வெவ்வேறான வரங்களுள்ளவர்களானபடியினாலே, நம்மில் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ்சொல்லுகிற வரத்தையுடையவன் விசுவாசப்பிரமாணத்துக்கேற்றதாகச் சொல்லக்கடவன்.

நமக்குப் பலவிதமான வரங்கள் இருக்கின்றன. ஒவ்வொரு வரமும் நமக்கு தேவனுடைய இரக்கத்தால் கிடைத்தது. நம்மிடையே தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற வரத்தைப் பெற்றவன் அதனை தன் நம்பிக்கைக்கு ஏற்ற வகையில் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்.

ஆயினும், நமக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள அருளுக்கேற்ப வெவ்வேறு அருள்கொடைகளைப் பெற்றுள்ளோம். இறைவாக்குரைக்கும் கொடையை நாம் பெற்றிருந்தால் நாம் கொண்டிருக்கும் நம்பிக்கைக்கு ஏற்றவாறு அதைப் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்.
