நீங்கள் ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்பாயிருங்கள்; நான் உங்களில் அன்பாயிருந்ததுபோல நீங்களும் ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்பாயிருங்கள் என்கிற புதிதான கட்டளையை உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன்.

உங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் என்னை அனுப்பினவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்.

வருத்தப்பட்டுப் பாரஞ்சுமக்கிறவர்களே நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள்; நான் உங்களுக்கு இளைப்பாருதல் தருவேன்.

பிதாவானவர் எனக்குக் கொடுக்கிற யாவும் என்னிடத்தில் வரும், என்னிடத்தில் வருகிறவனை நான் புறம்பே தள்ளுவதில்லை.

புறஜாதியாரும் இரக்கம்பெற்றதினிமித்தம் தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்துகிறார்களென்றும் சொல்லுகிறேன். அந்தப்படி: இதினிமித்தம் நான் புறஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே உம்மை அறிக்கைபண்ணி, உம்முடைய நாமத்தைச் சொல்லி, சங்கீதம் பாடுவேன் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறது.

தம்முடைய தயவுள்ள சித்தத்தின்படியே, நம்மை இயேசுகிறிஸ்துமூலமாய்த் தமக்குச் சுவிகாரபுத்திரராகும்படி முன் குறித்திருக்கிறார்.

தமது சித்தத்தின் ஆலோசனைக்குத்தக்கதாக எல்லாவற்றையும் நடப்பிக்கிற அவருடைய தீர்மானத்தின்படியே, நாங்கள் முன்குறிக்கப்பட்டு, கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் அவருடைய சுதந்தரமாகும்படி தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டோம்.

அவர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்திலிருந்தும், அவருடைய வல்லமைபொருந்திய மகிமையிலிருந்தும் நீங்கலாகி, நித்திய அழிவாகிய தண்டனையை அடைவார்கள்.

அவர்களை நோக்கி: இந்தச் சிறுபிள்ளையை என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் என்னை அனுப்பினவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; உங்களெல்லாருக்குள்ளும் எவன் சிறியவனாயிருக்கிறானோ அவனே பெரியவனாயிருப்பான் என்றார்.
