அன்றியும், என் பொய்யினாலே தேவனுடைய சத்தியம் அவருக்கு மகிமையுண்டாக விளங்கினதுண்டானால், இனி நான் பாவியென்று தீர்க்கப்படுவானேன்?

“நான் பொய் சொல்லும்போது அது தேவனுக்குப் பெருமையே சேர்க்கிறது. ஏனெனில் என் பொய் தேவனுடைய உண்மையை விளங்க வைக்கிறது. அப்படி இருக்கும்போது நான் ஏன் பாவி என்று தீர்ப்பளிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்?” என்று ஒருவன் கேட்கிறான்.

என் பொய்ம்மையின் மூலம் கடவுளின் வாய்மை வெளிப்படுவதோடு அவரது மாட்சியும் பெருகுமானால், இன்னும் நான் பாவி எனத் தீர்ப்பளிக்கப்படுவது ஏன்?
