இவர்கள் மோவாபியரில் பெண் கொண்டார்கள்; அவர்களில் ஒருத்தி பேர் ஒர்பாள், மற்றவள் பேர் ரூத்; அங்கே ஏறக்குறையப் பத்துவருஷம் வாசம் பண்ணினார்கள்.

இவர்கள் மோவாபியப் பெண்களைத் திருமணம் செய்தார்கள்; அவர்களில் ஒருத்தியின் பெயர் ஒர்பாள், மற்றவளுடைய பெயர் ரூத்; அங்கே ஏறக்குறைய பத்து வருடங்கள் வாழ்ந்தார்கள்.

அவளது மகன்கள் மோவாப் நாட்டிலுள்ள பெண்களை மணந்துகொண்டனர். ஒருவனின் மனைவி பெயர் ஓர்பாள், இன்னொருவனின் மனைவி பெயர் ரூத். அவர்கள் அங்கே 10 ஆண்டுகள் வாழ்ந்தனர்.
