இந்த வார்த்தை உண்மையுள்ளது; தேவனிடத்தில் விசுவாசமானவர்கள் நற்கிரியைகளைச் செய்ய ஜாக்கிரதையாயிருக்கும்படி நீ இவைகளைக்குறித்துத் திட்டமாய்ப் போதிக்கவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகிறேன்; இவைகளே நன்மையும் மனுஷருக்குப் பிரயோஜனமுமானவைகள்.

இந்த வார்த்தை உண்மையுள்ளது; தேவனை விசுவாசிக்கிறவர்கள் நல்ல செயல்களைச்செய்ய ஜாக்கிரதையாக இருக்கும்படி நீ இவைகளைக்குறித்துத் திட்டமாகப் போதிக்கவேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகிறேன்; இவைகளே நன்மையும் மனிதர்களுக்குப் பிரயோஜனமுமானவைகள்.

இந்தப் போதனை உண்மையானது. மக்கள் இதனைப் புரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும். இதனை உறுதிப்படுத்திக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று நான் விரும்புகிறேன். அப்பொழுது தேவனை நம்பும் மக்கள் தம் வாழ்வை நன்மை செய்வதற்குப் பயன்படுத்த எச்சரிக்கையாக இருப்பர். இவை நல்லவை, எல்லா மக்களுக்கும் பயன் உள்ளவை.

திருவிவிலியம்
இக்கூற்று உண்மையானது. கடவுளிடம் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்கள் நற்செயல்களைச் செய்யக் கருத்தாய் இருக்கும்படி நீ வலியுறுத்தவேண்டும் என்பதே என் விருப்பம். இந்நற்செயல்களைச் செய்வதே முறையானது; இவை மக்களுக்குப் பயன்படும்.⒫
