கர்த்தர், “நீங்கள் உங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களைப் போன்றிருக்கக் கூடாது. கடந்த காலத்தில், தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் அவர்களிடம், ‘சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தர் நீங்கள் உங்களது தீய வாழ்க்கை முறையை மாற்ற வேண்டும் என விரும்புகிறார். தீயவற்றைச் செய்வதை நிறுத்துங்கள்!’ என்றார்கள். ஆனால், உங்கள் முற்பிதாக்கள் நான் சொன்னதைக் கேட்கவில்லை” என்றார். கர்த்தர் இவற்றைச் சொன்னார்.
