சகரியா 12:8
அந்நாளிலே கர்த்தர் எருசலேமின் குடிகளைக் காப்பாற்றுவார்; அவர்களில் தள்ளாடினவன் அந்நாளிலே தாவீதைப்போல இருப்பான்; தாவீது குடும்பத்தார் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக தேவனைப்போலும் கர்த்தருடைய தூதனைப்போலும் இருப்பார்கள்.

அந்நாளிலே கர்த்தர் எருசலேமின் மக்களைக் காப்பாற்றுவார்; அவர்களில் தள்ளாடினவன் அந்நாளிலே தாவீதைப்போல இருப்பான்; தாவீது குடும்பத்தார்கள் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக தேவனைப்போலவும் கர்த்தருடைய தூதனைப்போலவும் இருப்பார்கள்.

ஆனால், கர்த்தர் எருசலேமில் உள்ள ஜனங்களைக் காப்பார். அங்குள்ள தள்ளாடுகின்ற மனிதனும் கூடத் தாவீதைப்போன்று பெரும் வீரனாவான். தாவீதின் குடும்பத்திலுள்ள ஜனங்கள் இரதங்களைப் போன்றும், ஜனங்களை வழிநடத்தும் கர்த்தருடைய சொந்தத் தூதர்களைப் போன்றும் இருப்பார்கள்.

அந்நாளில் எருசலேமில் குடியிருப்போருக்கு ஆண்டவர் அடைக்கலமாய் இருப்பார்; அந்நாளில் அவர்களுள் காலூன்றி நிற்க வலுவில்லாதோர் கூடத் தாவீதைப்போலிருப்பர். தாவீதின் குடும்பத்தார் கடவுளைப்போலும் அவர்களுக்கு முன்சென்ற ஆண்டவரின் தூதரைப்போலும் இருப்பர்.

In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.
