கர்த்தருடைய உக்கிரத்தின் நாளிலே அவர்கள் வெள்ளியும் அவர்கள் பொன்னும் அவர்களைத் தப்புவிக்கமாட்டாது; அவருடைய எரிச்சலின் அக்கினியினால் தேசமெல்லாம் அழியும், தேசத்தின் குடிகளையெல்லாம் சடிதியாய் நிர்மூலம்பண்ணுவார்.

கர்த்தருடைய கோபத்தின் நாளிலே அவர்களுடைய வெள்ளியும், பொன்னும் அவர்களைத் தப்புவிக்காது; அவருடைய எரிச்சலின் நெருப்பினால் தேசமெல்லாம் அழியும்; தேசத்தின் குடிமக்களையெல்லாம் விரைவாக அழிப்பார்.

அவர்களது பொன்னும், வெள்ளியும் அவர்களுக்கு உதவாது. அந்த நேரத்தில் கர்த்தர் எரிச்சலும், கோபமும் கொள்வார். கர்த்தர் உலகம் முழுவதையும் அழிப்பார். கர்த்தர் உலகில் உள்ள ஒவ்வொன்றையும் முழுவதுமாக அழிப்பார்” என்றார்.

⁽ஆண்டவரது சினத்தின் நாளில்,␢ அவர்களது வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும்␢ அவர்களைக் காப்பாற்றா.␢ உலகம் முழுவதும்␢ அவரது வெஞ்சினத் தீக்கு இரையாகும்.␢ உலகில் வாழும் அனைவரையும்␢ அவர் நொடிப்பொழுதில்␢ முற்றிலும் அழித்துவிடுவார்.⁾

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of Jehovah’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he will make an end, yea, a terrible end, of all them that dwell in the land.
