மனுஷரையும் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் வாரிக்கொள்ளுவேன்; நான் ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளையும், சமுத்திரத்து மச்சங்களையும் இடறுகிறதற்கேதுவானவைகளையும் துன்மார்க்கரோடேகூட வாரிக்கொண்டு தேசத்தில் உண்டான மனுஷரைச் சங்காரம்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

மனிதரையும் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் வாரிக்கொள்ளுவேன்; நான் ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளையும், சமுத்திரத்து மீன்களையும், இடறுகிறதற்கு காரணமானவைகளையும் துன்மார்க்கர்களோடு வாரிக்கொண்டு, தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற மனிதர்களை அழிப்பேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

நான் அனைத்து ஜனங்களையும், அனைத்து விலங்குகளையும் அழிப்பேன். வானில் உள்ள பறவைகளையும், கடலிலுள்ள மீன்களையும் அழிப்பேன். நான் தீய ஜனங்களையும். அவர்களைப் பாவம் செய்யத் தூண்டும் அனைத்தையும் அழிப்பேன். நான் பூமியிலுள்ள அனைத்து ஜனங்களையும் அகற்றுவேன்” கர்த்தர் இவற்றைக் கூறினார்.

⁽அனைத்தையும் அழித்துவிடுவேன்,”␢ என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர்.␢ “மனிதரையும் விலங்குகளையும்␢ அழிப்பேன்;␢ வானத்துப் பறவைகளையும்␢ கடல் மீன்களையும் ஒழிப்பேன்;␢ கொடியவர்களை␢ இடறிவிழச் செய்வேன்;␢ மனிதஇனம்␢ மண்ணுலகில் இல்லாதவாறு␢ அற்றுப் போகச் செய்வேன்,”␢ என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர்.⁾
